NOTICE RE: EXTENSION OF REMOTE CALLER BINGO LICENSES AND WORK PERMITS


Please be advised that the Commission, on July 25, 2013, approved an extension of all remote caller bingo licenses and work permits and all manufacturer, distributor and vendor licenses through December 31, 2013. The authorization of a nonprofit organization as being eligible to conduct remote caller bingo games does not expire; therefore, extensions are not necessary or applicable to those authorizations issued by the Commission. Those organizations that were authorized by the Commission on or before June 30, 2011, may continue to operate and participate in remote caller bingo games, subject to all applicable laws and regulations.

Bingo Halls Open On Saturday

Under the Governor's Reorganization Plan No. 2 of 2012 (GRP No. 2), the Department of Justice, Bureau of Gambling Control (Bureau) assumed responsibility for receiving and processing applications associated with the Remote Caller Bingo program, effective July 1, 2013. The Commission retained its jurisdiction over: (1) the approval of licenses and work permits, and (2) the authorization of nonprofit organizations to conduct remote caller bingo games.
